Tribute to Survival

Key West is home to a lot of things I hold dear. The best sandwich in the world, prime Instagram spots, and a culture perfect for falling off the map for a couple seconds. It’s an island with so much personality it’s never not hard to say goodbye.

I don’t keep up with much news outside of ENews, but my family and I have been following Hurricane Irma very closely. In honor of the damage, survival, and huge loss in the number of wild chickens, I’ve decided to dedicate this post to my little spot in the sun.

It’s about time for a Key West photo diary.

Maybe it’s post-hurricane happiness, but I’m missing this place a little more than normal. I’m ready for island time.
